The incredible generosity and support of the Haldane School Foundation in funding a collection of e-readers for the Haldane Middle School/High School Library has been an instrumental piece in updating our collection for the 21st century. Through the e-readers, our students will have almost instanteous access to a variety of reading materials for school and for pleasure. Because of the cost-effectiveness of e-books, the library's budget will be stretched further, allowing us to build a collection that would be too expensive to maintain and too large to contain in print format. Additionally, there is an unspeakable benefit in offering this type of motivational technology to students who are reluctant readers. On behalf of all the students in the middle school & high school, thank you so much for providing this amazing opportunity!

Over the past ten years, the Foundation has run many events to raise money for educational enrichment initiatives at Haldane. The community finds these popular events to be very enjoyable.
